Food and Wine Experience

2020 Dates: August 14, 21, 28; September 4, 11, 18; October 2, 9, 16, 23. Begins at 11:30 am

Enjoy a unique, personalized tour with a lunch focused on food and wine pairing. You’ll begin by sipping our welcome wine while you enjoy an in-depth tour of the vineyards and winemaking facility, which overlooks Seneca Lake. Following the tour, Chef Brud Holland will serve you a plate of five delicious bites alongside a flight of six incredible wines, including a dessert wine. Lunch will be served in our historic barrel room—a restored dairy barn from the 1800s. And Owners Scott or Ruth will join you for lunch.

Grapes, Griddles, & Fiddles

August 12 & August 26Begins at 6:00PM

Fox Run’s Grapes, Griddles & Fiddles gives you everything you need to enjoy a warm summer evening: delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, wine by the glass, bottle and can, and live fiddle music. Free admission!

While you sip wine and enjoy the sunshine along with live music on our back patio, Chef Brud Holland will grill up an elevated version of the classic grilled cheese, with the specialty fillings changing at each event. These delectable sandwiches come with a side salad. Priced at $12 it’s the perfect mid-week dinner. Please plan to bring bring lawn chairs & blankets (limited seating). Weather dependent event. Please bring your mask and plan to social distance!

August 12: Music- Old World Warblers/ Grilled Cheese- Muranda Cheese Co. Old Man Cheddar & apple butter on sourdough with a blueberry salad

30th Anniversary Celebration

Saturday, August 22 – Begins at 12 pm

Join us on Saturday, August 22 from 12-4 pm as we celebrate 30 years of running with the foxes! This socially distanced, outdoor event will feature live music from local band, Zydecorp of Geneva and ice cream from Spotted Duck Creamery of Penn Yan. Brud will be cooking up his famous Riesling Sausage on the griddle and wine flights will be available in the barn. We’re commemorating the year with limited edition Fox Run merch – our 30th anniversary logo shirt and our throwback tie-dye shirt. Both will be available for purchase!

Dogs & Dogs

Sunday, September 13 – Begins at 12 pm

Come enjoy a day out on the town with your favorite four-legged companion! Fox Run is dog friendly every day, but on Sunday, September 13 from 12-4 pm we’ll make it extra special for our very best friends.

Walk your doggo on a special trail through the vineyards, let them chow down on dog-friendly ice cream sundaes, and treat yourself to a very punny meal of specialty hot dogs. Dogs & Dogs! What could be better?! Bo’s Bones Gourmet Organic Dog Biscuits will be here with treats as well.

We’ll have the Humane Society of Yates County on site with some adoptable dogs and to accept donations. And we plan on throwing humans a bone by offering free wine tastings in exchange for a donation (list of needed items).

In order to ensure the safety of all our guests we ask that dogs and their owners follow the obedience ground rules:

• Masks are not required for dogs, but they are for you! Please plan to wear a mask and maintain a social distance throughout the event.

• All dogs must be kept in control and on a leash at all times.

• Unruly or unfriendly dogs will be asked to leave.

• According to NYS law, dogs are not allowed in the Cafe.

• PYOP! Please Pick Up Your Own Poop! We have baggies and receptacles available.


Tasting Blocks Dinner

September 25 & October 30, 2020- 6:30 pm

Join us as Winemaker Peter Bell & Chef Brud Holland guide us through the building blocks of food and wine pairings. This four course dinner focuses on the principles chefs and winemakers use when collaborating on food and wine pairings. Each portion or “block” is served with a wine that enhances and showcases the intricate flavors of the meal. Our chef and winemaker will interpret the science behind food and wine pairing while you indulge in this phenomenal wine dinner. Menu coming soon!
