Friday, July 23rd | 4-5:30 pm
Fox Run winemaker Peter Bell will be joined by his musical friends Jane Rothfield and Allan Carr for an afternoon of old-time Appalachian music on the patio. The trio will be playing their favorite tunes on fiddle, banjo and acoustic guitar. Grab a seat on the lawn and your favorite glass of wine and enjoy this gathering of melodic minds.
About Jane Rothfield
Jane Rothfield is an internationally known fiddler, clawhammer banjo player, tune composer, dance musician, and band leader who has been playing music since “forever.”
About Allan Carr
Allan Carr is one of Scotland’s finest traditional singers, whose unique repertoire of songs, ballads and stories reflects the culturally rich region of his native North East Scotland.
About Peter Bell
When he’s not being a science-based, rationalist winemaker, Peter Bell enjoys flexing the right side of his brain by exploring the world of clawhammer banjo.
Grapes, Griddles, and Fiddles 6-8pm
Fox Run’s Grapes, Griddles & Fiddles gives you everything you need to enjoy a warm summer evening: delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, wine by the glass, bottle and can, and fiddle music.
While you sip wine and enjoy the sunshine on our back patio/lawn, Chef Brud Holland will grill up an elevated version of the classic grilled cheese, with the specialty fillings changing at each event. These delectable sandwiches come with a side salad. Priced at $12 it’s the perfect mid-week dinner. We have plenty of seating but just in case bring a chair/blanket if you would like! Weather dependent event.

Tickets are $5/person for general admission (kids age 5 and under are free), advanced purchase is highly recommended (tickets will also be available for purchase at the event!). New this year, skip the line and purchase your grilled cheese in advance (add on at checkout)!

Enjoy a unique, personalized tour with a lunch focused on food and wine pairing. You’ll begin by sipping our welcome wine on an in-depth tour of the vineyards and winemaking facility, which overlooks Seneca Lake. Following the tour, join the owners and chef Brud Holland for a plate of seven delicious bites alongside a flight of seven incredible wines, including a dessert wine. Lunch will be served in our historic barrel room — a dairy barn dating back to the 1800’s. Please come prepared in case of inclement weather (umbrellas, rain jacket, etc.)

Join us as Winemaker Peter Bell & Chef Brud Holland guide us through the building blocks of food and wine pairings. This four course dinner focuses on the principles chefs and winemakers use when collaborating on food and wine pairings. Each portion or “block” is served with a wine that enhances and showcases the intricate flavors of the meal. While you indulge, our chef and winemaker will interpret the science behind food and wine pairing. The Tasting Blocks Dinners take place in our historic barrel room (each party will be at separate tables and socially distanced). Due to the nature of this event, we are not able accommodate ANY menu substitutions or dietary restrictions.
