Fox Run Vineyards is located on the West side of Seneca Lake in Finger Lakes wine country.

We strive to make wine approachable and believe anyone should be able to enjoy a glass of wine regardless of where they are on the wine experience spectrum. We offer in-depth tours of the vineyard and winemaking facility, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a Café with a fully house-made menu. Fox Run is family-owned and has been making estate wines since 1989. And we live by the motto: Drink wine, be happy.

Tasting Room Hours: Monday-Saturday 10AM-6PM & Sunday 11AM-6PM (we stop serving tastings, glasses at 5:30pm). We do not accept or require reservations.

Café Hours:  Open Daily 11AM-5PM

Wine Tastings & Vineyard Tours

Wine Tastings

Our regular wine tastings are $10 for a flight of five wines. Choose from 4 flight options: sweet, dry, red, or Riesling. Reservations are not accepted or required for wine tastings. All wine tastings are first come, first served. We only accept groups of 12 people or less.

Vineyard Tours

Learn the ins and outs of viticulture and winemaking with a guided, 45-minute walking vineyard tour exploring our vineyards and taking a peek inside our winemaking facility. Tours are $15 for adults, $5 for children under 15, and free for children under 5. We offer tours 7 days a week, all year long (weather permitting). Tours go out every hour, on the hour. The last tour departs at 4 PM. Reservations are not required.

Our Café

Café Hours: Open Daily 11AM-5PM

The Fox Run Vineyards Café is open seasonally April through December. We offer a variety of locally sourced menu items, from sandwiches and salads to tacos and cheeseboards.

Featured Events

Fox Run Vineyards invites you to explore the complex flavors of Indian cuisine and Finger Lakes Riesling. It’s no secret how well Rieslings’ delicate flavors illuminate the rich Indian spices we all love. Learn, sip, and enjoy five courses paired with eight different Fox Run Rieslings, including five selections from our extensive library of older vintages. Our chef and winemaking team will walk you through each course with a unique combination of cultural intrigue, tasting references and a little bit of food & wine science.  This dinner will be held on April 20th at 6:30pm in our historic barrel room.

Course 1

Appetizer plate:

Classic samosa, tamarind sauce

Grilled chicken tikka skewer

Curried lamb meatball 

Wine pairing: 2012 Semi-Dry Riesling & 2022 Semi-Dry Riesling

Course 2

Soup:  

Dal Palak, grilled naan

Toor & mung dal, cumin seed, green & red chilis

Fresh spinach, yogurt

Wine pairing: 2008 Tierce Riesling

Course 3

Salad:

Mango & beet Salad

Arugula, shaved radicchio, lime dressing 

Wine pairing: 2022 Silvan Riesling & 2022 Lake Dana Riesling

Course 4

Main Course:

Carrot ginger mash 

Coconut milk rice

Vegetable curry

Grilled mahi mahi, pickled red onions

Wine pairing:  2016 Dry Riesling

Course 5

Dessert:

Almond & orange cardamom cake

Vanilla turmeric sauce

Wine pairing: 2023 Lake Dana Riesling (tank sample) & 2019 Skyquake Riesling

Tickets are $125 per person + tax + gratuity. Wine Club Members– In order to receive 10% off your event ticket in Tock, you must log in with the same email address as the one that is associated with your wine club account at Fox Run.
