Spring Wine & Cheese with the SLWT Friday, April 12, 2019 - Sunday, April 14, 2019

Join us, April 12-14, for three days of local wine and cheese tastings. Co-hosted by our friends at Cabot Creamery Co-operative, Spring Wine & Cheese Weekend is the perfect way to kickoff the spring season. Participants will enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake, while sampling local wine, cheese, and food pairings at 29 participating Seneca Lake Wine Trail wineries.

Important group size policies: Groups of 19 or fewer people can attend the event together without having to make appointments at the wineries. However groups of 20 and up to 40 people will be accepted only if routed by the Trail office and are limited. All large groups must be booked 60 days prior to and event weekend. Few large groups are permitted and we reserve the right to limit the number of large groups and motor coaches purchasing tickets to our events to four (4). Learn the ins and the outs of cooking techniques, how to dial in flavor profiles, and the art of food and wine pairing from Fox Run's highly acclaimed Chef, Brud Holland. In this hands-on cooking class, students-turned-chef masters will gain practical experience cooking intricate meals with this skilled chef. Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, the April 27 selection will be:

Gulf Shrimp and Grouper Ceviche
Chicken Mole Enchiladas
Bean, Corn, and Chili Salsa

You will prepare the majority of the meal, while also enjoying one-on-one instruction and a cooking demonstration by the chef. Afterward, sit down and sip a complimentary glass of wine while you indulge in your creation!

A credit card is required to hold your reservation, and will be charged the morning of the event. Cancellations required 24 hours in advance; cancellations within 24 hours of event will be charged a 50% deposit, and no call/ no show reservations will be charged the full amount.
